Hello everyone! I am writing a little late because being in charge of a human being has made me have very little time, even more so when the children get sick and all your attention must be on that.
In general my experience learning English at the university has been much more profitable than in high school, especially considering that the rest of the English courses I was fortunate to take in person, certainly at a distance it has become more difficult, but I have been able to review the classes and I think that the activities that are proposed make learning more enjoyable, they are didactic and there is an evident concern in the planning of the classes and in deepening the learning.
The blog is great! It is really motivating to learn to write in English correctly. I have been able to learn that all my life I have been translating in a literal way and not in the correct way.
I think I need to deepen in all aspects of learning a foreign language, especially in everyday conversation. I think I'm not so fast at generating answers, even to understand questions or sentences, I think the best way to improve that is talking to people who speak English natively.
Finally, the truth is that I use English in everyday life by changing some words from Spanish to English and with my daughter, whom I try to teach ways of saying things in Spanish, English and Mapudungun, so that she doesn't forget where she comes from.
I hope your baby is better, a lot of encouragement for you, I loved the idea of teaching Mapudungun to your baby, really valuable <3
ResponderEliminarRegarding English in high school, my experience was also bad, hopefully that will change for new generations :(
