Hello! today I want to talk to you about an area of study in geography, which is my career.
Water scarcity concerns several areas of geography, on the one hand those that are dedicated to water, also those that study territories, also social and political geography and on the other hand, closely related to environmental geography.
First of all, it is important to say that water scarcity is obviously related to a climatic factor, which is evidenced in the form of drought, a product of climate change that can be seen worldwide.
However, the concept of water scarcity is not only related to the "lack of water", but also to the political management and the context of productive social relations that sustain this lack of water for the affected territories and populations.
The concept of "socially constructed" water scarcity then emerges, in that sense, we study and work with the ways in which social factors determine or exacerbate the way in which certain territories must live with less water than others: the unequal distribution of water resources.
This is why the issue of water scarcity should not be seen only as the lack of water in terms of atmospheric drought but as a much more complex phenomenon to be analyzed.

Your career is very importan for the people´s quality life and the continuation of our planet
